Poland official-source workflow

Poland company checks across KRS, KAS and VIES

Review Polish legal-registration and VAT evidence from the applicable official sources without collapsing their roles.

For supported Polish queries, SENTINEL can combine a KRS legal-entity response, a Polish VAT Register response and EU VIES validation. Each source answers a different question and remains visible on its own.

Verification workflow

A controlled route from identifier to evidence.

  1. 01

Provide a KRS, NIP or VAT identifier

The strongest available official identifier improves routing and entity comparison.

  2. 02

Review legal and tax evidence separately

KRS legal state is not inferred from KAS or VIES, and VAT validity is not inferred from KRS.

  3. 03

    Inspect names and source timestamps

Conservative normalization handles common Polish legal-form variants without aggressive fuzzy matching.

Evidence guide

What this check means in practice.

01

Which identifiers are useful?

NIP identifies the Polish taxpayer, KRS identifies an entity in the National Court Register and an EU VAT number normally uses the PL prefix. They are related but not interchangeable.

02

Which source confirms what?

KRS provides legal-registration evidence; the KAS VAT Register provides national VAT evidence; VIES validates EU VAT status where supplied.

03

How does the workflow route?

A supported NIP can be checked in KAS and used for registry resolution; a KRS number targets the legal record; an EU VAT number can add VIES validation.

04

What is BRIS doing here?

European e-Justice BRIS provides an official registry-coverage reference. SENTINEL displays it separately and never counts it as independent verification evidence.
